The project was designed for a young couple looking for an interior that would be aesthetic, cosy and functional, while remaining reasonable in terms of implementation costs. The key idea was to create a calm, harmonious space for everyday living, free from unnecessary elements and costly custom-built furniture.

Custom-made furniture was limited to the key areas: the kitchenette, bedroom and TV unit. This helped maintain a cohesive interior while keeping the budget under control. An important part of the design was also creating a comfortable home office area – the desk was discreetly integrated into the bedroom wardrobe, allowing it to blend into the interior while making efficient use of the available space.

The material palette is based on warm beiges, cashmere tones and natural wood, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Subtly textured walls draw inspiration from the wabi-sabi aesthetic, celebrating the natural character and imperfect beauty of materials. The overall design follows the principles of Japandi, combining Scandinavian functionality with Japanese simplicity and minimalism.

The result is a warm, timeless and comfortable interior, tailored to the everyday life of a young couple. Simple solutions, natural materials and thoughtful functionality create a space that works well both for daily living and as a calm, flexible setting for the next stages of life together.
