Privacy Policy
This website belongs to the ConscUS design studio. We want it to be clear what data we collect and why. In short: very little.
Who the data controller is
The controller of your personal data is ConscUS Alicja Zimniak. For anything concerning your data, write to kontakt@conscus.pl or call +48 733 305 053.
What we collect
Contact form. You give your name and e-mail address, and optionally a phone number, along with your message. This goes to our mailbox and nowhere else. The website does not store it, so no database of enquiries is created.
Spam protection. So that the form cannot be used for bulk sending, the site remembers a hash of the sender IP address for 60 seconds. After that the record disappears, and we never store the IP address itself.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, which may contain an IP address. They serve only to maintain and secure the server.
Cookies
The site uses a single cookie, pll_language, which remembers your chosen language. It is necessary for the language switch to work and is not used for tracking.
We use no Google Analytics and no other analytics tool. We have no advertising pixels. We do not profile you and we make no automated decisions.
Our typefaces are hosted on our own server, so simply visiting the site does not send your IP address to Google Fonts or any other outside provider.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) – handling the message you send through the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to kontakt@conscus.pl.
- Steps before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – when you write about working together.
- Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – carrying on correspondence, protecting the form from abuse and keeping the site secure.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as the matter it concerns requires, and afterwards for the period in which claims could still be raised. If nothing further comes of a message, we delete it once it is no longer needed.
Who else may process it
Your data may be processed by the providers of our technical services:
- the hosting company that runs the website,
- our e-mail provider.
They act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Where processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it relies on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased, restricted or ported, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to withdraw your consent. Writing to kontakt@conscus.pl is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
Links to other sites
The site links to LinkedIn, Instagram and to articles published elsewhere. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policies of those services apply, and we have no influence over them.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page.
