Consulting Services for the ELENA Energy Renovation Programme

conscus is about more than design. We also bring our experience and expertise to areas such as construction, accessibility, sustainable development and modern building solutions.

We are pleased to share that conscus completed a project commissioned by the Air Protection and Climate Policy Office of the City of Warsaw as part of the ELENA programme.

ELENA – European Local Energy Assistance – is a European instrument supporting the preparation of investments related, among other things, to energy efficiency and the energy transition, with support from the European Investment Bank.

In Warsaw, the programme covers municipal properties planned for energy renovation. As part of this process, we provided technical support by carrying out surveys and accessibility audits for nearly 70 properties.

Why is accessibility so important? Because it is not only relevant to people with disabilities. Well-designed solutions also benefit older people, parents with children, people recovering from injuries, those with temporary mobility limitations and, in practice, all of us at different stages of life.

We are pleased to see Warsaw increasingly recognising accessibility as an integral part of upgrading existing buildings. This is particularly important because improved accessibility can and should go hand in hand with energy renovation, better functionality and higher-quality shared spaces.
